Air Marshal Tejpal Singh takes charge as new Deputy Chief of Air Staff

Business To Business, New Delhi, 01th August, 2026:   Air Marshal Tejpal Singh, a highly experienced fighter pilot with more than 3,500 flying hours, assumed charge as the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (DCAS) on Saturday, officials said.
He succeeds Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti, who retired on Friday after 39 years of distinguished service in the Indian Air Force.
Following the change of command, Air Marshal Singh visited the National War Memorial, where he laid a wreath and paid tribute to the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in service of the nation.
With extensive operational flying experience, Air Marshal Singh takes over one of the Indian Air Force's top leadership positions at a time of continued focus on enhancing operational capability and force modernisation.
