Amit Shah congratulates Praggnanandhaa and Women's Hockey U18 team

Business To Business, New Delhi, 6th June, 2026:   Amit Shah on Saturday congratulated R Praggnanandhaa for becoming the first Indian to win the prestigious Norway Chess 2026 title and also praised India's Women's Under-18 Hockey Team for securing the bronze medal at the Asia Cup.
In a post on X, Shah wrote:
"Kudos to @rpraggnachess on becoming the Norway Chess Champion 2026."
He said Praggnanandhaa had made the nation proud through his dedication, brilliant play, and strategic thinking, adding that he hoped the young grandmaster would continue to inspire India's youth and bring further honours to the country.
Praggnanandhaa created history by becoming the first Indian to win the prestigious Norway Chess title after defeating Germany's Vincent Keymer in the final round in Oslo.
Shah also congratulated the Indian Women's U18 Hockey Team for winning the bronze medal at the Asia Cup, commending their achievement on the international stage.
