Bengal CM Suvendu launches 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, leads march in Kolkata
Business To Business Kolkata, 07 August, 2026: Suvendu Adhikari on Friday formally launched West Bengal's "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign by leading a march through his Bhabanipur assembly constituency in south Kolkata.
The campaign includes plans to distribute 70 lakh national flags across the state and organise a 50,000-person rally in Kolkata ahead of Independence Day.

- The procession began at Gopalnagar More near the Survey Building in Alipore at 3 pm.
- It concluded at Hazra crossing.
- Thousands of Bharatiya Janata Party workers, supporters and local residents participated.
- Participants carried the Tricolour and raised slogans including:
- "Bharat Mata Ki Jai"
- "Vande Mataram"
Adhikari led the march holding the national flag, accompanied by ministers, BJP legislators and party leaders, including
Rajyavardhan Rathore and other organisational functionaries.
The campaign is part of nationwide
Har Ghar Tiranga initiatives held ahead of Independence Day to encourage citizens to display the national flag at their homes and participate in patriotic programmes.
