CBSE exam result complaints: Kerala CM writes to Union education minister seeking intervention

Business To Business, Thiruvananthapuram, 25th May, 2026:  V. D. Satheesan on Monday sought urgent intervention from the Centre over widespread complaints related to the Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12 examination results and the re-evaluation process for the 2025–26 academic year.
In a letter addressed to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Satheesan highlighted concerns raised by students and parents across the country regarding marks that were allegedly much lower than expected after the results were declared on May 13.
He urged the Centre to take immediate corrective steps, citing:

  • Complaints about discrepancies in evaluation
  • Difficulties faced during the re-evaluation process
  • Anxiety and uncertainty among students
  • Concerns regarding transparency in result assessment
Satheesan said the issue was causing significant distress to students and families and called for urgent measures to ensure fairness and restore confidence in the examination and review system.
