CBSE says 40,000 students complete re-evaluation process without issues
Business To Business, New Delhi, 3rd June, 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified that its verification and re-evaluation process is functioning smoothly, with nearly 40,000 students successfully completing their applications as of Wednesday morning.
According to Central Board of Secondary Education, students can make payments through multiple banking gateways available on the Verification and Re-evaluation portal, including:
- State Bank of India (SBI)
- Canara Bank
- Bank of Baroda
- Indian Bank
The board emphasized that students
do not need to hold an account with any of these banks to complete the payment process. They may use any of the available payment gateways regardless of where they maintain their bank account.
The clarification comes amid concerns from some students and parents regarding payment issues during the application process. CBSE stated that the system is operating normally and that a large number of candidates have already availed themselves of the verification and re-evaluation facility without encountering problems.
Verification and re-evaluation allow students to request a review of their answer books and marks after the declaration of board examination results, providing an opportunity to address any potential discrepancies in evaluation.
