Business To Business, Itanagar, 30th June, 2026: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday said Union ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Kiren Rijiju carried out aerial and ground assessments of the flood-affected Keyi Panyor district to review the extent of the damage caused by recent heavy rains.
Speaking to mediapersons after the inspection, Chouhan assured the state of all possible assistance from the Centre for relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in the flood-hit areas.
According to the State Emergency Operation Centre, four people have died, 21 others have been injured and two remain missing after heavy rainfall over the past seven days triggered flash floods and landslides across Arunachal Pradesh.
The adverse weather has caused extensive damage to houses, roads, bridges and other public infrastructure, with authorities continuing rescue, relief and restoration operations in the affected districts.
