Chhattisgarh Housing Board earned Rs 1,532 cr revenue from sale of 7,388 properties in 2 yrs: CM

Business To Business, Raipur, 26th June, 2026:   Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday said the Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board has generated revenue of Rs 1,532 crore through the sale of 7,388 properties over the past two years, marking a significant financial turnaround after overcoming earlier challenges.
Speaking at a function at the Circuit House in Nava Raipur, where he unveiled the board's new logo, Sai said the organisation had transformed from being primarily a housing construction agency into a key player in the state's infrastructure development.
The chief minister said the expanded role of CGHIB would provide fresh momentum to Chhattisgarh's urban and infrastructure growth while contributing to the state's broader development agenda.
Highlighting the government's housing priorities, Sai said every family aspires to own a permanent home and reaffirmed the state's commitment to helping citizens realise that goal through various housing initiatives.
He added that the board's improved financial performance would strengthen its capacity to undertake new housing and infrastructure projects, thereby supporting planned urbanisation and improving public amenities across the state.
The new logo, he said, reflects the board's evolving mandate and its renewed focus on integrated infrastructure development alongside affordable housing.
