China Southern Airlines flight diverted to Lucknow over inclement weather in Kathmandu

Business To Business, Lucknow, 27th July, 2026:    A China Southern Airlines flight bound for Kathmandu was diverted to Lucknow on Sunday night after adverse weather conditions prevented it from landing in the Nepalese capital, airport sources said.
According to the sources, Flight CZ 3067, operated by an Airbus A320neo, was diverted at 10.57 pm because of inclement weather at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport.
The aircraft landed safely at Lucknow airport at 11.18 pm.
The flight had departed from Guangzhou, China, and was originally scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu before being rerouted due to the prevailing weather conditions.
Airport officials did not immediately provide details on when the flight would resume its journey to Kathmandu, with further operations expected to depend on weather conditions at the destination.
