Delhi: Cannabis smuggled in train pantry, 2 arrested

Business Aajkal, New Delhi, 18 June 2025: Two bike taxi riders were arrested in Dwarka on Wednesday for allegedly smuggling high-quality cannabis from West Bengal to Delhi. The suspects reportedly used the pantry car of trains to hide the drugs in luggage.
 
During a raid near the BSES office in Sector 18, Dwarka, on June 9, authorities recovered 28.781 kilograms of cannabis concealed in luggage from the two accused—Manju Husain and Rakib Miyan, both aged 24.
 
Manju hails from Noida’s Sarfabad area, while Rakib is originally from Cooch Behar in West Bengal. Both worked as bike taxi riders in Noida.
