Fadnavis performs customary puja at Lord Vitthal temple in Pandharpur on 'Ashadhi Ekadashi'

Business To Business, Mumbai, 25th July, 2026:   Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday performed the traditional mahapuja at the Vitthal-Rukmini Temple in Pandharpur along with his wife on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, marking the culmination of the annual 'wari' pilgrimage undertaken by devotees of Lord Vitthal.
After offering prayers, Fadnavis said he sought divine blessings for the continued progress and prosperity of Maharashtra and the nation.
The Chief Minister said he prayed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to create new opportunities for the country's youth gain further strength.
He also offered prayers for peace, prosperity and happiness in Maharashtra, the welfare of the state's farmers, and the continued blessings of Lord Vitthal on its people.
Ashadhi Ekadashi is one of Maharashtra's most significant religious festivals, drawing lakhs of devotees to Pandharpur every year to pay homage to Lord Vitthal after completing the traditional pilgrimage.
