FDA suspends food licence of popular Parsi Dairy Farm over hygiene issues, FSSAI violations

Business To Business, Mumbai, 16th July, 2026:   The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the food business licence of Mumbai-based Parsi Dairy Farm Pvt. Ltd. after inspections uncovered serious violations of food safety and hygiene norms, officials said on Thursday.
The action was part of a statewide enforcement drive during which food products worth more than Rs 1.90 crore were seized, according to the FDA.
Inspections at the company's Princess Street facility in south Mumbai revealed multiple violations of the Food Safety and Standards Act and related regulations, prompting the immediate suspension of its FSSAI licence, the FDA said in a statement.
