Business To Business, New Delhi, 22nd July, 2026: A steady supply of pizzas, biryani, langar, fruits and even golgappas has become an integral part of the ongoing Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, where volunteers from diverse backgrounds have come together to ensure that hundreds of participating students remain well-fed and hydrated.
As the protest demanding accountability over the alleged NEET paper leak and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan continued, Jantar Mantar has evolved into a community kitchen. Office-goers, senior citizens, children and community groups have joined hands to serve meals, snacks and refreshments to the protesters.
Reflecting the preferences of the predominantly young crowd, volunteers have been distributing pizzas, biryani, chips, biscuits, fruit juices and cold drinks, while local vendors have been offering golgappas and dahi bhallas free of cost.
