Four-day meeting of BRICS culture ministers to start in Bhopal from Aug 5
Business To Business, Bhopal, 04 August, 2026: A four-day conference of the Culture Working Group and Culture Ministers of the BRICS countries will begin in Bhopal on August 5, bringing together ministers and senior officials to strengthen cultural cooperation among the member nations.
Vivek Aggarwal said the event will focus on a broad range of cultural issues while promoting collaboration in the cultural sector across BRICS countries.
According to Aggarwal, the conference aims to:
- Promote cultural dialogue among BRICS members.
- Strengthen cooperation in culture and heritage.
- Showcase India's rich cultural heritage, artistic traditions and civilisational legacy.
- Encourage greater cultural exchange and collaboration among participating countries.
The summit will be attended by
culture ministers, deputy ministers and senior officials from the
BRICS member countries, providing a platform to discuss initiatives for preserving cultural heritage, fostering creative industries and expanding people-to-people exchanges.
