Honeymoon murder: Victim's kin demand narco test on Sonam's parents, brother

Business Aajkal, Indore, 16 June 2025: The elder brother of Raja Raghuvanshi, an Indore-based transport businessman murdered while on his honeymoon in Meghalaya, has called for a narco-analysis test on the prime accused Sonam’s parents and expressed suspicion of broader involvement in the case.

Police have already arrested five individuals, including Sonam (25), Raghuvanshi’s wife, and her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha (20), in connection with the 29-year-old businessman’s murder last month. They are currently in Meghalaya police custody, with a Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the case.

During Raghuvanshi’s 13th-day death ritual in Indore, Vipin Raghuvanshi, his elder brother, told reporters, “We want a narco-analysis test on Sonam, her parents, brother Govind, and sister-in-law,” indicating their belief that more people may be involved in the crime.
