Indian military's top officer briefs foreign defence attaches on Operation Sindoor

Business Aajkal, NEW DELHI, 13 May 2025: A senior officer of the Indian armed forces briefed foreign defence attaches on Tuesday about the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, which the military claims has established "new normals in India-Pakistan relations." The briefing emphasized India's strength and national resolve demonstrated through military superiority in the context of "new-age warfare."
The nearly 30-minute closed-door session was held at the Manekshaw Centre in Delhi Cantonment and was led by Lt Gen D S Rana, Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency. During the briefing, officials also discussed the ongoing anti-India misinformation campaign by adversaries and its impact on regional peace and stability.
Attendees included defence attaches from several major countries, as well as representatives from various Islamic nations, highlighting the international interest in India's military posture and regional security dynamics.
