Kerala govt seeks details on two Keralites after Vietnam boat accident

Business To Business, Thiruvananthapuram, 11th July, 2026:   The Kerala government on Saturday initiated efforts to gather more information about two Keralites who were among those affected in the boat accident in Vietnam, according to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).
In a statement, the CMO said that the Chief Minister has directed the Chief Executive Officer of NORKA (Department of Non-Resident Keralites Affairs) to contact the Embassy of Vietnam to obtain detailed information about the incident and the condition of the two individuals.
NORKA is the state government department responsible for the welfare of Keralites living in other parts of India and abroad.
The Kerala government said it is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with the relevant authorities to gather information and extend necessary assistance to those affected and their families.
