Business To Business, Mumbai, 8th May, 2026: The Government of Maharashtra on Friday directed strict implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act to ensure the safety of women at workplaces, amid concerns arising from the Nashik TCS case.
According to an official release, all government and private establishments employing 10 or more people must constitute Internal Complaints Committees (ICCs) and register them on the Centre’s She-Box portal.
The state government said the directions were issued following a serious incident reported at a reputed multinational company in Nashik, in an apparent reference to the Tata Consultancy Services case.
