Make appropriate arrangements for Kashi Vishwanath visitors: Adityanath tells officials in Varanasi

Business Aajkal, Varanasi,  02 March 2026: Expecting a heavy influx of devotees during the upcoming festivals, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to ensure smooth arrangements at Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi.
Key Directions Issued
During his visit to Varanasi, Adityanath emphasized:

  • No mistreatment of devotees under any circumstances.
  • Proper crowd management and basic facilities.
  • Ensuring easy access to shops built within the temple corridor.
  • Fixing reasonable prices for goods sold in the corridor area.
“Places of Devotion, Not Profit”
The Chief Minister underlined that religious institutions are spaces of faith and devotion, not sources of revenue generation. He instructed officials to prioritize the comfort, dignity, and spiritual experience of visitors.
With major festivals approaching, authorities are expected to strengthen security, sanitation, traffic management, and public convenience services to handle the anticipated surge in footfall.
