Business To Business, New Delhi, 5th May, 2026: The Ministry of Defence on Tuesday signed a ₹1,476 crore contract with Bharat Electronics Limited for the procurement of five ground-based mobile electronic systems for the Indian Army.
The systems are expected to significantly enhance the Army’s surveillance capabilities and strengthen its networking infrastructure.
According to the ministry, the platforms will feature a minimum of 72 per cent indigenous content, aligning with the government’s push for self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
