Nariala appointed West Bengal school recruitment body chairman

Business To Business, Kolkata, 04th July, 2026:  Senior IAS officer Dushyant Nariala was on Saturday appointed as the chairman of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC), according to an official notification.
A 1993-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Nariala is currently serving as the Principal Resident Commissioner of the West Bengal government in New Delhi.
In addition to his present responsibilities, he also holds the additional charge of Director General of the Netaji Subhas Administrative Training Institute (NSATI) and Chairman of the State National Tobacco Control Cell Steering Committee (SNTCSCC).
His appointment as WBSSC chairman comes at a significant time as the commission continues to oversee teacher recruitment and related administrative functions in the state.
