Business To Business, New Delhi, 27th July, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday interacted virtually with participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme 2026, during which young Mera Yuva Bharat (MYBharat) volunteers shared their experiences of working in border villages across Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Ladakh.
More than 5,000 volunteers from 245 districts across the country participated in the programme, which focuses on promoting development and community engagement in India's border regions.
During the interaction, the volunteers spoke about their experiences of living and working in remote villages and their efforts to contribute to local development through various initiatives.
MYBharat is a national platform established by the Department of Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to encourage youth participation in nation-building and community service.
The Viksit Vibrant Village Programme is aimed at promoting inclusive development in border areas by strengthening infrastructure, improving livelihoods and encouraging greater engagement of young volunteers with local communities.
