Business To Business, New Delhi, 27th July, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday announced the formation of a high-powered task force headed by Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani to recommend reforms aimed at making India's examination system leakproof and more transparent.
In a video message posted on his Instagram handle, the Prime Minister said the government would implement the panel's recommendations to strengthen the credibility of public examinations and enhance trust in the system.
Modi said the task force would focus on making the examination process more secure and transparent through the maximum use of technology, with the objective of ensuring that the system is reliable and free from question paper leaks.
The announcement comes a day after the 36-day agitation led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) concluded following the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as Union Education Minister and the government's acceptance of the protesters' key demands.
The proposed reforms are aimed at addressing concerns over recurring paper leaks and improving the integrity and transparency of the country's examination framework.
