Business To Business, New Delhi, 01th August, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan' on Sunday, marking the beginning of a 100-week nationwide campaign aimed at combating drug and substance abuse among the youth.
According to an official statement issued on Saturday, the initiative seeks to encourage young people to stay away from substance abuse and inspire them to become ambassadors of positive social change within their communities.
The launch will kick off a 100-week 'Jan Bhagidari' (people's participation) campaign, which aims to mobilise citizens, educational institutions, community organisations and other stakeholders in the fight against drug addiction.
The campaign is part of the government's broader efforts to promote a drug-free society and harness the potential of India's youth in the pursuit of a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) vision.
