Business To Business, Kolkata, 27th May, 2026: Preparations are in full swing at the Brigade Parade Grounds for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid) congregational prayers, which have been shifted this year from the traditional venue of Red Road.
The annual Eid-ul-Adha namaz gathering, one of the largest in Kolkata, was moved following a decision by the West Bengal government to prohibit prayers on streets and public thoroughfares to avoid traffic disruption and ensure smoother public movement.
