Rajasthan minister apologises to students over NEET paper leak

Business To Business, Jaipur, 13th May 2026: Jhabar Singh Kharra has apologised to students over the alleged leak of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test question paper and the subsequent cancellation of the examination.
Speaking to reporters after a programme in Jhunjhunu, the minister said, “I apologise on behalf of the Government of India, the Rajasthan government and also at a personal level for the hardship caused to hardworking students.”
Kharra said several accused persons allegedly involved in the theft and circulation of the NEET paper had already been arrested and that the investigation had been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
The alleged paper leak and cancellation of the exam have triggered widespread concern among medical aspirants and intensified political debate over the conduct and security of national-level entrance examinations.
