Business To Business, New Delhi, 14th May 2026: Six months after a car explosion near the Red Fort killed more than a dozen people, the National Investigation Agency on Thursday said it has filed a 7,500-page chargesheet against 10 accused, alleging the existence of a “jihadi conspiracy” linked to the banned outfit Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, an offshoot of Al-Qaeda.
According to an NIA statement, the accused have been charged under provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Explosive Substances Act, the Arms Act and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.
The chargesheet was filed before the designated NIA court at Patiala House Courts against Aamir Rashid Mir, Jasir Bilal Wani, Dr Muzamil Shakeel, Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather, Dr Shaheen Saeed, Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay, Soyab, Dr Bilal Naseer Malla and Yasir Ahmad Dar, among others.
The agency said the investigation uncovered an alleged terror network and conspiracy involving radicalisation, recruitment and planning of violent attacks.
