Ten tourists from Tamil Nadu die in Vietnam boat capsize

Business To Business, Chennai, 11th July, 2026:    Ten tourists from Tamil Nadu were among those killed in the Vietnam boat capsize on Saturday, prompting Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay to direct officials to take all necessary steps to bring their mortal remains back to the state.
The chief minister instructed the authorities to coordinate with the relevant agencies to facilitate the repatriation of the victims and provide all possible assistance to their families.
Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar also expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, saying he was saddened by the loss of Indian tourists, including those from Tamil Nadu.
In his condolence message, the Governor conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
