Three proposed highways will reduce traffic congestion in Pune: Fadnavis

Business To Business, Pune, 18th July, 2026:   Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said the construction of three major highways in Pune would significantly ease the city's growing traffic congestion.
Fadnavis was speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony for the highway projects, which was attended by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar and several other dignitaries.
The proposed projects include the Pune–Shirur, Hadapsar–Yavat and Talegaon–Chakan–Shikrapur highways, aimed at improving connectivity and reducing travel time across the region.
