Vice President Radhakrishnan visits Leh war memorial, pays homage to bravehearts

Business To Business, Leh, 20^th June, 2026:  C. P. Radhakrishnan on Saturday visited the Hall of Fame War Memorial and paid tribute to the personnel of the Indian Armed Forces, expressing the nation's gratitude for their dedication to protecting India's security and territorial integrity.
Radhakrishnan is currently on a three-day maiden visit to Ladakh. During the second day of his tour, he also inspected the first rock check dam on the Indus River (Sindhu River) and visited a Pashmina goat farm, according to officials.
In a post on X, the vice president said that the unwavering commitment of India's armed forces to the nation embodies the spirit of "Nation First: Always and Every Time" and inspires a deep sense of patriotism and gratitude among visitors to the memorial.
The Hall of Fame War Memorial in Leh commemorates the sacrifices and achievements of Indian soldiers, particularly those who have served in the challenging terrain and high-altitude conditions of Ladakh. The memorial is a prominent symbol of the courage and dedication of the armed forces and attracts visitors from across the country.
Radhakrishnan's visit highlighted both the strategic importance of Ladakh and the contributions of local initiatives, including water conservation projects and the region's renowned Pashmina wool industry.
