Business To Business, New Delhi, 13th May 2026: In the lead-up to the second edition of the Nalanda Literature Festival in 2027, the multi-city “Nalanda Dialogue” series will bring together policymakers, scholars, writers and cultural practitioners for discussions on philosophy, language, artificial intelligence, translation and environmental issues.
The series, which began in New Delhi on May 9-10, will travel across several Indian cities including Srinagar, Bengaluru, Surat, Ahmedabad, Kozhikode, Bodh Gaya, Patna, Jaipur, Guwahati, Mumbai, Kohima and Kolkata ahead of the main literature festival scheduled for October 17-20, 2027.
The organiser, Dhanu Bihar, said the dialogue series will also extend internationally to Mauritius and England.
According to the organisers, the international leg will focus on diaspora experiences, post-colonial knowledge systems and shared intellectual histories across Asia and the Global South, with the aim of strengthening India’s cultural diplomacy through dialogue, lived narratives and academic exchange.
