Business To Business, Chennai, 08th July, 2026: AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Wednesday expressed confidence that the party would overcome its current electoral setback and regain its winning momentum in the future.
Addressing party workers on the fifth consecutive day of an intensive organisational review meeting at the AIADMK headquarters in Royapettah, Chennai, Palaniswami urged leaders and cadres from Tirunelveli and Tiruchirappalli districts to remain united and motivated despite recent electoral losses.
He emphasised that setbacks in elections are temporary in the life of a political party and called upon party workers to continue strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level.
"Do not feel disheartened by the election defeat. AIADMK will certainly rise again from this defeat and return to the path of victory," Palaniswami told party cadres.
The review meetings are part of the AIADMK's ongoing exercise to assess its electoral performance, strengthen its organisational structure and prepare for future political contests.
Palaniswami reiterated that the party's focus remains on rebuilding its support base through sustained outreach, organisational reforms and active engagement with the people, expressing confidence that the AIADMK would emerge stronger in the coming elections.
