Business To Business, Patna, 04th July, 2026: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Saturday announced that the state government will establish a commission on the lines of the Centre's NITI Aayog to formulate a long-term development vision for Bihar and promote evidence-based policymaking.
Choudhary made the announcement while chairing a high-level review meeting of the state's Planning and Development Department.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), the proposed commission will focus on long-term planning, policy formulation and strategic development initiatives to support the state's growth.
During the meeting, the chief minister reviewed the progress of key government schemes and directed officials to ensure their effective implementation, regular monitoring and timely execution to achieve the intended developmental outcomes.
