BJP chief begins Punjab visit, offers prayers at Golden Temple, visits Jallianwala Bagh

Business To Business, Chandigarh, 20th June, 2026:  Nitin Nabin on Saturday began his first three-day visit to Punjab after taking charge as BJP president.
The visit commenced in Amritsar, where Nabin paid obeisance at the revered Golden Temple. He also held meetings with party leaders to review the current political situation in the state and discuss strategies for strengthening the organization.
Speaking after visiting the Golden Temple, Nabin said he prayed for the continued progress and prosperity of Punjab. Referring to the development agenda of Narendra Modi, he expressed hope that the benefits of growth and development would reach every household, locality, and village across the state.
The visit is being seen as significant for the BJP's efforts to expand its presence in Punjab and energize its cadre ahead of future political challenges. Discussions with state leaders are expected to focus on organizational strengthening, outreach initiatives, and the party's strategy in the state.
