Business To Business, New Delhi, 8th May, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday attacked the Indian National Congress, calling it a “dhokhebaz” party and a “historical backstabber”, while claiming that none of its allies in the INDIA bloc trusted it anymore.
The BJP’s remarks came after a social media post by Akhilesh Yadav and reports that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam had sought separate seating for its MPs in the Lok Sabha, away from other INDIA bloc members.
Yadav on Friday shared photographs with outgoing Mamata Banerjee and M. K. Stalin on social media with the caption in Hindi: “Hum wo nahi jo mushkilon mein saath chhod dein (We are not the ones who abandon friends in difficult times).”
The BJP claimed the developments reflected growing distrust and internal strains within the opposition alliance.
