Business To Business, New Delhi, 26th June, 2026: Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), on Friday announced a nationwide campaign demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and appealed to students, farmers and civil society groups to join the protest at Jantar Mantar on June 28.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Dipke said the campaign would begin with a gathering at Jantar Mantar, where activist Sonam Wangchuk is also expected to participate and commence an indefinite fast on Sunday.
Dipke, however, did not elaborate on the broader strategy or future course of the nationwide campaign.
He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure that Pradhan resigns, alleging that failure to do so would reflect poorly on the government's leadership.
The announcement marks the launch of a new political campaign centred on demands for accountability in the education sector, with organisers calling for wider public participation in the planned protest.
