Business To Business, New Delhi, 31 March 2026: The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation on Monday accused the government of using a parliamentary discussion on left-wing extremism to target the broader communist movement in the country.
In a statement, the party’s general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said, “The discussion on left-wing extremism in Parliament predictably became a platform for the Modi government to vilify the entire communist movement in India.”
He further alleged that the Union Home Minister echoed “typical Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) narratives against the communist movement, claiming it was inspired by a ‘foreign’ ideology.
