Demand for Union Minister Pradhan's resignation justified: Kerala Minister John

Business To Business, Thiruvananthapuram, 24th July, 2026:   Kerala Higher Education Minister Roji M. John on Friday said the demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was "totally justified" in view of the alleged leaks of question papers in national-level examinations.
Speaking to reporters, John said the central government must be held accountable for repeated incidents involving examination paper leaks.
"The central government and the concerned ministry are to be held responsible for the paper leaks. That is why the protests are being held demanding the minister's resignation and a comprehensive investigation into the matter," he said.
The minister also called for a thorough probe into the alleged irregularities, asserting that those responsible should be identified and held accountable.
His remarks come amid continuing protests by opposition parties and student organisations seeking action over the alleged paper leaks and demanding reforms to safeguard the integrity of national-level examinations.
