Business To Business, Kolkata, 12th May 2026:  A city court on Tuesday remanded former West Bengal minister Sujit Bose to Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody till May 21 in connection with the alleged municipal recruitment scam.
Bose, a leader of the All India Trinamool Congress, was produced before the Bankshall Court after being arrested by the central agency late on Monday night following several hours of questioning.
The ED informed the court that Bose had allegedly concealed information and made contradictory statements during interrogation as part of its ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in recruitment processes in various civic bodies across West Bengal.
