Business To Business, Chandigarh, 22nd May, 2026: Harbhajan Singh on Friday accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of taking bribes and “selling” Rajya Sabha seats, nearly a month after switching allegiance to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The former India cricketer and current Rajya Sabha MP made the remarks after a user on X called him a “traitor” and questioned why he had not resigned from the Rajya Sabha seat that, according to the user, had been given to him by AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.
Harbhajan’s comments come amid criticism and trolling from several AAP supporters on social media following his move to the BJP.
The controversy has added to the political sparring between the BJP and AAP, with party-switching by prominent figures continuing to generate sharp reactions online and within political circles.
