Health minister addressing presser on paper leaks shows how non-serious BJP is about issue: Akhilesh

Business To Business, Lucknow, 23rd July, 2026:   Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday took a swipe at the BJP over a press conference addressed by Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda on the alleged NEET paper leak, saying it reflected the ruling party's lack of seriousness in addressing the concerns of students.
At the press conference in New Delhi, Nadda accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of politicising the alleged examination irregularities and urged the opposition to allow an "intensive discussion" in Parliament to arrive at a "permanent solution" instead of engaging in a blame game.
In a post in Hindi on X, Yadav said, "The BJP government has hastily called a press conference in response to the youngsters' agitation. The department concerned is headed by one minister, yet another minister is responding. This itself shows how non-serious the BJP is about resolving the issue. In a way, it is making a mockery of the youth, who have given this hollow press conference a score of zero and declared it a failure."
