Business To Business, Jammu, 27th June, 2026: Surinder Choudhary on Saturday reiterated the National Conference-led government's commitment to the phased regularisation of all eligible ad-hoc and daily-wage employees in the Union Territory.
Addressing a public gathering at Surankote in Poonch district, Choudhary said the government is determined to fulfil its promises to the workforce and ensure justice for eligible employees.
"The Omar Abdullah government is committed to regularise all eligible ad-hoc and daily-wager employees in a phased manner. The government is dedicated to fulfilling its promises and ensuring justice for the workforce," he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister also reaffirmed the government's commitment to equitable development across Jammu and Kashmir, with particular emphasis on remote and underserved regions, including the Pir Panjal region.
He said the administration aims to ensure balanced development by improving infrastructure, public services and employment opportunities in areas that have historically faced developmental challenges.
The remarks come as the National Conference-led government continues to outline its priorities on employment, regional development and welfare measures in Jammu and Kashmir.
