Kavitha rules out returning to BRS

Business To Business, Indore, 10th July, 2026:   Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) president K. Kavitha has ruled out any possibility of returning to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), dismissing speculation that she would rejoin the party led by her father, K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
Speaking to reporters in Kothagudem, around 275 km from Hyderabad, Kavitha said:
"I will not join BRS again till I am alive. There is no question of joining hands."
She also accused the BRS of submitting 1,000 complaints to the Election Commission against her party's use of the acronym TRS.
Kavitha further demanded that the BRS distribute the ₹1,400 crore it claims is held in the party's accounts to the families of those who sacrificed their lives during the Telangana statehood movement, describing them as Telangana martyrs.
Her remarks signal a continued rift with the BRS leadership and underscore the political differences that have emerged since she launched the Telangana Rakshana Sena.
