Lok Sabha adjourned till 12 noon as oppn refuses to relent

Business To Business, New Delhi, 24th July, 2026:   Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 12 noon on Friday after opposition members continued their protests over the alleged NEET paper leak and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Soon after the House assembled, Speaker Om Birla paid tributes to the armed forces ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas, which will be observed on Sunday. Opposition members then began raising slogans seeking Pradhan's resignation.
As the protests intensified, Birla reminded members that he had already assured the opposition of a discussion on the issue of examination paper leaks in accordance with the rules of the House.
Despite the Speaker's appeal, the protests continued, forcing him to adjourn the proceedings until 12 noon.
