PM Modi congratulates Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Ali for his party's 'decisive' victory

Business To Business, New Delhi, 23^rd June, 2026:   Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Abiy Ahmed Ali and his ruling Prosperity Party for their decisive victory in Ethiopia's parliamentary elections.
The Prosperity Party retained its overwhelming majority in the parliament following the elections held on June 1, reinforcing Abiy Ahmed's position as the country's leader.
In a message posted on X, Modi said:
"Heartiest congratulations to my friend, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and the Prosperity Party for a decisive victory in the Ethiopian parliamentary elections."
