PM must choose between students and an 'incompetent' minister: Dipke at CJP protest in Amritsar

Business To Business, Kolkata, 13th June, 2026:  Members and supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) staged a protest in Amritsar on Saturday as part of a nationwide campaign demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.
The demonstration was held at the Golden Gate, where students and young people reportedly gathered to protest alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment-related processes.
Speaking at the protest, Abhijeet Dipke said that Narendra Modi would have to decide whether to prioritize students' concerns or continue backing what he described as an "incompetent" and "failed" minister.
The party has been demanding accountability over alleged issues in examination administration and has called for Pradhan's resignation.
According to organizers, the Amritsar protest is part of a broader national campaign. Similar demonstrations have previously been held in:

  • New Delhi
  • Pune
  • Lucknow
Protesters highlighted concerns relating to:
  • Alleged examination irregularities.
  • Transparency in recruitment and testing processes.
  • Accountability within the education system.
  • Protection of students' interests.
The protests add to the ongoing debate over examination management and educational governance, issues that have drawn attention from student groups and political organizations across the country. As of now, there has been no official response from the Education Ministry regarding the specific demands raised at the Amritsar demonstration.
