Senior SP leader Rajendra Chaudhary suffers cardiac arrest, hospitalised

Business To Business, Lucknow, 03rd July, 2026:   Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Rajendra Chaudhary suffered a cardiac arrest and was admitted to a hospital in Lucknow on Friday, doctors said.
Chaudhary, 79, is the chief spokesperson of the Samajwadi Party and a former Uttar Pradesh minister. Hailing from western Uttar Pradesh, he has been one of the party's most prominent leaders since the days of its founder, Mulayam Singh Yadav.
According to doctors, Chaudhary was brought to the Civil Hospital unconscious on a stretcher after suffering a severe heart attack.
He is currently undergoing treatment, and further details about his condition are awaited.
