Business To Business, New Delhi, 29th July, 2026: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Wednesday demanded an apology from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks concerning the Bajrang Dal, alleging that he had made false accusations against the organisation.
The RSS affiliate said it is also considering initiating legal action against Gandhi over the comments.
The VHP's reaction came after Gandhi, during a press conference earlier in the day, alleged that members of the Bajrang Dal had attacked students who participated in protests over the NEET paper leak in Delhi and other parts of the country.
Rejecting the allegations, the VHP maintained that the claims were baseless and called on the Congress leader to withdraw his remarks and issue a public apology.
The organisation said it is examining legal options in response to the statements, while no further details on the proposed action were immediately disclosed.
