Yadav spreading misinformation, never honoured SC ruling on Ram Temple: Pathak on fund fraud charge

Business To Business, Lucknow, 8th June, 2026:   Brajesh Pathak on Monday criticized Akhilesh Yadav for alleging irregularities involving donation money at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Pathak accused the Samajwadi Party chief of spreading misinformation and attempting to create confusion regarding the temple and its management.
According to Pathak:

  • Yadav's allegations are an attempt to spread rumors about the Ram Temple.
  • Such claims seek to create what he described as a "false narrative."
  • The people of Uttar Pradesh are aware of and can see through such political tactics.
He also alleged that Yadav had never respected the verdict of the Supreme Court of India in the Ayodhya dispute and remained silent during various stages of the temple's construction.
The exchange reflects the continuing political significance of the Ayodhya temple issue in Uttar Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party has frequently highlighted the construction of the Ram Temple as a major achievement, while opposition parties, including the Samajwadi Party, have at times raised questions regarding aspects of the project's management and administration.
The Ram Temple in Ayodhya was built following the Supreme Court's landmark 2019 judgment in the Ayodhya land dispute. Since its inauguration, it has become one of India's most visited religious sites and remains a prominent subject in national and state-level political discourse.
At present, Pathak's remarks represent the BJP's response to Yadav's allegations, while any claims regarding temple donations or financial irregularities would require verification through official records or investigations.
