Business To Business, Lucknow, 16th May 2026: Yogi Adityanath on Friday urged intellectuals and opinion makers to educate younger generations about the condition of Uttar Pradesh before 2017 and the changes the state has witnessed in recent years.
Addressing the “Prabuddh Samvad” programme organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Rapti Nagar Mandal in Gorakhpur, Adityanath said the youth should be made aware of what he described as an earlier era marked by riots, curfews, lawlessness and appeasement politics.
He said many young people today were too young to remember the situation in the state a decade ago.
According to the chief minister, if the present generation is not informed about the consequences of “misgovernance and appeasement politics”, they may fail to appreciate the significance of the changes brought about in recent years.
