Business To Business, New Delhi, 02 January, 2026: Dutchman Sjoerd Marijne was reappointed on Friday as the head coach of the Indian women’s hockey team, signifying his return to the organization after leading the team to a remarkable fourth-place finish at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
The 51-year-old, who was part of the Indian women’s team from 2017 to 2021, will have Matias Vila serving as the analytical coach. Vila, a former midfielder for Argentina, made his international debut in 1997 and represented his nation at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2004 Athens Olympics. He has been engaged in coaching for more than twenty years.
